We are accredited by Health & Safety Institute, (HSI).
Neither HSI, the AHA, nor the ARC are recognized accreditation organizations. HSI, like the AHA and ARC, is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). HSI training programs are equivalent to the training programs developed and administered by the AHA and the ARC.
Both HSI (Health & Safety Institute) and AHA (American Heart Association) CPR certifications meet nationally recognized guidelines for CPR, AED, and First Aid training. Both organizations follow the latest science and recommendations from the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR), ensuring the training content and techniques are evidence-based and up to date. While the organizations are different, HSI and AHA certifications are widely accepted and recognized by employers, schools, and regulatory bodies — meaning you get the same high-quality, lifesaving skills and certification, just through different training providers.
*Some Employers have a preference of training programs- Be sure to check with your HR Department to see if that is the case for you.
Depending on the certification you receive, it may be valid for one or two years. At Beach MedX, our certifications are valid for 2 years.
HSI’s emergency care training programs and brands are currently accepted, approved, or recognized as an industry credential meeting the requirements of thousands of US state regulatory agencies, occupational licensing boards, national associations, commissions, and councils in hundreds of occupations and professions.
OSHA does not approve or endorse any type of products.
